JR joined Lakes, Whyte LLP after practicing as a litigation lawyer in a downtown boutique law firm. JR brings with him a pragmatic, business-minded approach to legal problem-solving. Before entering the legal profession, JR spent nearly a decade working in the insurance industry which continues to inform his advice and advocacy for clients today.
JR assists clients with various issues in areas relating to employment, debt claims, property disputes, and construction litigation. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and has a longstanding interest in business strategy, marketing, and economics.
Outside the office, JR enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and is proud to be building both his practice and his life in the community he loves.
