Born in Port Moody, Naeem spent the first 17 years of his life in the Lower Mainland. Naeem earned his law degree from Oxford University before returning to Vancouver to receive his Masters of Law from the University of British Columbia. Naeem articled at a national law firm and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2019.
Prior to beginning his law career, Naeem was a distinguished multi-sport athlete having played junior hockey all over North America and professional cricket in Australia and England. Naeem carried his athletics with him to Oxford where he was a two-sport Varsity athlete, captaining both the cricket and hockey teams. A dual citizen, he represented the Ugandan national cricket team from 2012-2017.
Naeem believes in building trust with his clients and being an advocate for all of their needs.
Within the community, Naeem coaches hockey at both the North Shore Winter Club and St. George’s. During the summer weekends, he can be found watching cricket at Norgate Park or playing golf at Northlands.
Naeem maintains a general solicitors’ practice with expertise in real estate, commercial law, and wills and estates. He is currently the co-leader of the real estate practice group at Lakes, Whyte.
